I KNOW. It’s been out for over a year, and I kind of hated it when I first watched it, because the music just makes me want to put my hands over my ears and scream. Not my thing. But every once in a while I seekritly rewatch it, because it’s so incredibly well done. All the matching between an actor’s gesture or motion as one character and his or her identical gesture as another - wow. So here, I’m reccing it, okay? Because it’s great. But I still hate the music.

Girls kicking ass hilariously juxtaposed with a sweetness-and-light Rogers and Hammerstein musical song. I am only familiar in passing with the fandoms (Alias, BSG, Veronica Mars, Firefly, Buffy) but that totally doesn’t matter. Funny and sexy and makes me want to pump my fist in the air and yell, “chicks ROCK!”

Multifandom paean to the costume drama - its costumes and its drama and its sheer (and sequinned, and lacy) sexiness. I’m stunned by the number of sources, some which seem unlikely but work so well in the vid. My favorite part is the twirling sequence that begins about a third of the way through. And the kissing. Don’t forget the kissing!

Multifandom boykissing and girlkissing! That is, boys kissing boys and girls kissing girls. It gives me a nice happy gooshy feeling, and I love the way the clips are matched to the lyrics. Also, it’s hot.

Multifandom slashy vid. Everybody’s doing it, doing it, doing it, and what’s really fun is how they’re doing the same things in the same ways in all our fandoms! Awesome clips, perfect timing.

Ensemble, due South crossover with Men With Brooms, humor. Curling! Beavers! CANADA! This is great, and the editorial comments are priceless.

Ensemble gen, crossover with Xanadu, humor. Totally cool and totally wacko. I especially liked the segue into Elizabeth’s appearance in Before I Sleep - that’s the point at which I mentally went, “oh YEAH!” Like Olivia’s passing the torch of Atlantis to Elizabeth, to entirely mangle a metaphor.
